ES:GP3-Provisioned-ThroughPut

The amount of provisioned throughput (per MiB/s-month) for EBS GP3 volumes used with OpenSearch. EBS GP3 includes 125 MiB/s at no charge for volumes up to 170 GiB and 250 MiB/s per 3 TiB at no charge for volumes above 170 GiB. For EBS GP3 volumes, charges apply for provisioned storage, throughput, and IOPS.

ES:Magnetic-Storage

The amount of provisioned storage (per GB-month) for EBS Magnetic volumes used with OpenSearch. For EBS Magnetic volumes, charges apply only for the provisioned storage, with an average of approximately 300 IOPS but the ability to burst to hundreds.

ES:Managed-Storage

The amount of consumed storage (per GB-month) for OpenSearch managed storage. Serverless, Direct Query, UltraWarm data, and cold storage data. For OpenSearch managed storage, charges apply for storage and compute.

ES:GP3-PIOPS

The amount of provisioned IOPS (per IOPS-month) for EBS GP3 volumes used with OpenSearch. EBS GP3 includes 3,000 IOPS at no charge for volumes up to 1024 GiB and 3 IOPS/GiB free for volumes above 1024 GiB. For EBS GP3 volumes, charges apply for provisioned storage, throughput, and IOPS.

ES:PIOPS-Storage

The amount of provisioned storage (per GB-month) for EBS Provisioned IOPS (SSD) volumes used with OpenSearch. For EBS Provisioned IOPS (SSD) volumes, charges apply for provisioned storage and IOPS.

ES:PIOPS

The amount of provisioned IOPS (IOPS-Month) for EBS Provisioned IOPS (SSD) volumes used with OpenSearch. For EBS Provisioned IOPS (SSD) volumes, charges apply for provisioned storage and IOPS.

data-transfer

DataTransfer-Regional-Bytes

The amount of data (in bytes) transferred within the same Availability Zone.

AWS-Out-Bytes

The amount of data (in bytes) transferred out of AWS. If there are two regions in the prefix, the first represents the source region, and the second represents the destination region. If there is only one region in the prefix, the prefix represents the AWS source region.

AWS-In-Bytes

The amount of data (in bytes) transferred into AWS. Data transferred into AWS does not incur a fee. If there are two regions in the prefix, the first represents the source region, and the second represents the destination region. If there is only one region in the prefix, the prefix represents the AWS source region.

DataTransfer-Out-Bytes

The amount of data (in bytes) transferred out of AWS to the internet.

DataTransfer-In-Bytes

The amount of data (in bytes) transferred into AWS from the internet. Data transferred into AWS does not incur a fee.

CloudFront-In-Bytes

The amount of data (in bytes) transferred into an AWS region from CloudFront. Each CloudFront data transfer also has a line item for CloudFront-Out-Bytes in which the cost is applied.

CloudFront-Out-Bytes

The amount of data (in bytes) transferred out of an AWS region to CloudFront.

DataXfer-Out

The amount of AWS Direct Connect data (in bytes) transferred out over a virtual interface. If there is a postfix of `dc.3` that indicates the data was transferred over a private virtual interface. Otherwise, the data was transferred over a public virtual interface. The first region in the prefix represents the source region, and the second represents the destination region.

DataXfer-In

The amount of AWS Direct Connect data (in bytes) transferred in over a virtual interface. Each AWS Direct Connect data transfer also has a line item for DataXfer-Out in which the cost is applied. If there is a postfix of `dc.3` that indicates the data was transferred over a private virtual interface. Otherwise, the data was transferred over a public virtual interface. The first region in the prefix represents the source region, and the second represents the destination region.

amazon-opensearch-service-instance

ESInstance

The number of instance-hours an instance is available for use. Reserved Instances are included at either the discounted rate or $0 if fully prepaid (All Upfront). The postfix represents the instance type.

amazon-opensearch-service-ingestion

IngestionOCU

The amount of compute in OpenSearch Compute Units (OCUs) consumed to ingest, transform, and route data. Each OCU corresponds to 8 GB of RAM and 2 vCPUs. You can set the minimum and maximum number of OCUs per pipeline and you can pause a pipeline when it is not in use.

amazon-opensearch-service-serverless

IndexingOCU

The amount of compute in OpenSearch Compute Units (OCUs) consumed for indexing data in OpenSearch Serverless. One OCU corresponds to 6 GB of RAM and corresponding vCPU, GP3 storage, and I/O resources. Charges apply per hour based on the number of OCUs consumed for indexing data, with a minimum of 2 OCUs for the first collection.

SearchOCU

The amount of compute in OpenSearch Compute Units (OCUs) consumed for search operations in OpenSearch Serverless. One OCU corresponds to 6 GB of RAM and corresponding vCPU, GP3 storage, and I/O resources. Charges apply per hour based on the number of OCUs consumed for executing search queries, with a minimum of 2 OCUs for the first collection.
