What is AWS IngestionOCU?
Last updated: May 07, 2025The amount of compute in OpenSearch Compute Units (OCUs) consumed to ingest, transform, and route data. Each OCU corresponds to 8 GB of RAM and 2 vCPUs. You can set the minimum and maximum number of OCUs per pipeline and you can pause a pipeline when it is not in use.
